2 purebred working border collies available for adoption in Las Vegas,NV. The dogs belonged to a man who passed away and his daughter inherited them. According to their current owner, they are easy to handle and have worked all of their lives. Neutered males, almost 10 years old. Good with kids and cats, housebroken. Do not have to go together- owner does not have time for them and wants them to have a job and a good home.

I just got off the phone with her and it sounds like her Dad either did trials or just worked them like he might want to do sheep herding trials. Either way, they havent been around sheep for over a year. Last shots were given a bit more than a year ago when the dogs were taken to Hawaii to spend the rest of their owners life with him. (apparently it takes an act of God plus his signature to take an animal there and not spend 6 months in quarenteen)
One dog is really laid back and would be content to be a couch potato for the rest of his life while the other one prefers to be outside and does like to work sheep. they both herd her kids.
Only cost would be shipping from Las Vegas. She just wants them to goto a good forever home. They are reminders of her father who past a year ago. she got choked up about it while we talked.
