I just recently purchased another horse and her coat needs some work. What do you all use if any for your horses coat? I dont want her to gain weight from the supplement either. I also was looking for a cream with a numbing affect to it. She slams her self into the wall when she wants attention and she has a few knicks that are sore. We have talked to the vet about this behavior and everything has been done short of spaying her.

I'm not sure about a cream to numb stuff, but i def like corona for scratches and cuts & furafree! As for wanting to get a beautiful coat, try Super14! I've had my horse on it forever and love it! It comes with a little scoop and you give 2 scoops in the morning and 2 in the evening. I've seen results from it & def recommend it! ':)'

I love BOSS for hoof and coat!
Also, my horse farm neighbors had a mare who was spayed. They used her for a teaser horse. They said it puts them in season all the time. I'm not sure about all that but..... sounds awful!!

Well she's basically in heat all the time anyways lol..she hear the stud knicker and she goes into heat.. Plus it is like $4000 to do the surgery...a little out of my budget right now..hmmm maybe when the hubby gets the settlement we can do it LOL...

As for the BOSS.. I have heard good and bad things.. Have you had any issues with it?

They've been on it about 4 years. I had problems when I ran out and kept them off of it for a few weeks. The trainer I went to today asked what I fed and she praised the BOSS.

I use rice bran with my feed that keeps my mare coat looking great i have used it for years and it works great i have used that super14 coat supplement my mare didnt like it she is very picky...And my mare used to body slam the wall when she wanted attention as well she would get beaten up alot i have put that Bad Behavior to a rest what i did to stop that every time she would body slam i would run in her stall smack her on the butt as im saying "What do you think your doing thats not very nice miss priss"( it might soundmean but it worked) i did this with a small fish net like the ones you can get for a dollor she thought that fish net was the big scary wolf but about 2 weeks of this she stop body slaming.....And now when she attempt to slam her self into the wall all i say is Fancy realy loud and she will stop and raise her head like " O oops your standing there sorry"....there is this stuff called 3 in one it helps keep dirt off of the wounds, water proofs the area ,and it soothes the area you apply the stuff to

Hunterseat nope thats not her baby(she has had a baby but i no longer own the baby anymore) i wish i still had her baby
