Yes there used to be more people here, and believe it or not we have more now than we did about 4 months ago. Slow pace, but easy to follow.
I have only used corn oil and in moderation at that. It also helps add some shine to a coat. For me, corn is about the only one I would use.
I have found that I try to avoid "sweet" feeds and corn, oats, etc. I feed a low carb grain, grass in the summer and hay. I also feed a complete liquid vitamin that works well, not cheap but works. Free choice mineral/salt block. Due to medical issues last year with one horse I was able to talk with more than a few vets about what I feed and they all said what I do works for me and my horses. That is a key, each horse is different.
I believe that keeps it closer to what a horse would eat in the wild works better, they do not eat molasses in the wild.
