Rip in muscle?

• SullysGirl Posted : 4/13/2014 1:31:36 AM My horse has a bulge on his left hindquarter. My trainer says it is probably a rip in his muscle. Does anyone know what I can do to help him? Is it serious? I know it already hurts him to take his left lead. :( I'm worried about him. Will he ever be able to lope left again? • Connie Posted : 4/15/2014 6:42:29 PM Have not had to deal with this but would suggest that you contact a vet about treatment.  If your trainer has a good performance horse vet ( racing, gaming, hunter/jumper) to suggest, please contact the vet.   Keep us updated, please.
