It's Friday

Just got off the phone with my blacksmith.  I think Cinnabar needs her feet trimmed.  He is going to stop by around 7am Saturday.  I hope she behaves well.  He is good with new horses so I don't have much worry.

We have another day in the 40's and a good deal of ice all over the place.  Step son wanted ice for his big driveway/parking lot and we got one bag at TSC.  He saw that and wanted more.  Gave me $50 and said to get more salt.  We went to the feed mill and got the last nine bags that they had.  Since that mill is very close to a little diner that makes panko breaded haddock on Friday's we stopped in and had a delicious lunch.  Put my son's birthday card in my purse so I could mail it.  Forgot to stop at the post office and the mailman had already been here when we got home.  oops.

Hubby has a middle of the night airport run again.  Not happy with that , but not my decision to make.

Really good day today. This is the first time I've enjoyed being at that particular property. I guess I'm getting a feel for what all needs doing. Seemed overwhelming at first but it's just nickel dime stuff that's been building up. Who knows why my predecessor couldn't get a blame thing fixed. Anywho, they're happy I'm spending a day every week with them. They even gave me a badge so I can walk around unescorted and get in the building and parking lot! La-ti-da!

My little dog does NOT want me to put her down. Strange. I know she misses me but really this is not typical

I think we're going out for Pho. Fell in love with it in Hawaii and there are a few places here. Good soup!
