My mom just adopted a dog w/heartworms. She's going to pay for treatment but it's expensive. I hope you're able to treat him. Sometimes things are just out of our hands. We had to put a dog down recently that was in the late stages - it was my son's dog which was a stray. They couldn't treat him and I couldn't take him suffering. They go downhill fast so, if it reaches that point, you should be a good dog mom and let him go.
I know that's not what you want to hear. I'll be praying for your dog:
Dear God, Amber's dog needs healing but most of all, he needs to remember he's loved and to not be scared. Help Amber know what to do and to be strong for her dog. Thank you. In Jesus' name, Amen.
