What colors look good on chestnuts? (lots of links)

• quarterhorse105 Posted : 5/5/2010 8:05:27 PM I used to own a flea-bitten gray mare that passed away in April, and now my best friend who also passed away this year's mother is giving me here 3 year old, chestnut, TB, QH, Belgian filly. I was wondering what colors look good on them. I will try to post pics of her if I can't post the pics I will post links to the pics... I just saw her last weekend and forgot my camera *kicks self in butt* [:@] I will be going down the end of May to bring her the three hour drive home... I will get pics then... • Impdreams Posted : 5/5/2010 10:42:47 PM She's a good looking horse.  Any of the colors you mentioned would be nice.  My filly looks a lot like yours but with a darker mane.  She has the big white blaze and three white socks.  I use a white bridle and white pad on her.  It really brings our her blaze and socks.  Makes her look very flashy.  I used a baby pad under the saddle pad to keep the top one easy to keep clean.
