Saddle rigging

• samsara Posted : 9/20/2009 5:12:05 PM I have a 7/8ths double rigged saddle.  It's not working out for us.  It slides waaaay back as soon as Reidar moves.  Is there a way to get the cinch to fall more towards the center of the saddle (like it would if it was center fired)?  it seems like one could probably rig something up using both the front and back Ds... has anyone tried this? Ultimately, I will be getting a new saddle, but in the mean time is there anything I can do?
