Ridersrasp?
  • Has anyone tried a Ridersrasp? We're thinking of getting one. Any farriers have an opinion?
Here's their website since I can't get just a picture to come up....

  • My real mom bought one months ago and gave it to me after several attempts to use it.  I worked with it a couple minutes to get the hang of it.  Its not like using the old reliable rasp and if your use to using one of those it will take some getting use to.  ONce I got the hang of it I do like it.  I still use my trusty rasp though more offten but the Riders rasp is great for a quick touchup.

  • reliable rasp

    don't understand this word!![&:]
  • You know a rasp is used to smooth the hoof when you trim, right? (as in : fingernail file)

Reliable means "tried and true" or.... something that you have been using for a long time.  You know it works correctly and it will always work correctly.

So, for trainer101, she has a rasp that is reliable.  A reliable rasp.

I have a reliable horse.  My car is reliable.  My teenager is NOT reliable.  [':)']
