We are again planning for our summer trip. Any suggestions for a good base camp with enough trails for 4-5 days? We want to be able to ride out and back to camp everyday. I think there will be 4 couples traveling together in our group this year. We are taking a 2 week vacation, so will go to at least 2 different area.
We are looking for places in Colorado, New Mexico, (Wyoming, maybe)
Do any have any information about Molas or La Platas?
Have any of you ever ridden in the La Garita Wilderness?
Have any of you ever ridden in the Flat Tops?
We have been to Williams Creek, Elk Creek, Silver Jack, and Horse Ranch Park in CO. We have been to Argentina Bonita, Jack's Creek, and Resumidero in NM. We have been to Turpin Meadow and Green River Lakes in WY. So, we are looking for some different places to try out this year.
