May 9, 2010 May 8, 2011 He still has a funky shed going on, but its still a lot better than last year. I think it looks so odd because the stuff coming in is darker than his winter coat. Not sure what he is.  The ad was for a 3 year old haflinger.  When I called he said he had 3 haflingers.  When I got there and questioned him on them being haflingers - he said , well they may be crosses.  I really don't even know if I see haflinger.  My vet says drafty something or other is in him but who knows what.  Oh yeah - this boy was supposedly a gelding.  Both jewels dropped recently so that was a lie as well. • jungle_cat Posted : 5/14/2011 5:28:42 PM Thanks.  The big snip is planned for the fall.  We had an electrical issue here at the house that ended up draining a good portion of our funds (water coming in through the electric panel is not cool) and between the mud and the flies already hitting we decided it would be best to wait.  Thankfully I have just geldings and he doesn't act like a Mr. Studly so my vet felt it wouldn't be a big deal to wait.  So the plan is in mid-September when we get back from our Michigan trip.  LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
