Shiver.... you there....
  • I want to make sure everyone is ok.. I know your husband is in the service but I am not sure where he is out of.. Check in soon..
  • Hey Lisa- She posted in one of the daily threads a little bit ago.  Doing good and sounded VERY busy.  I hope she sees your post and pops in.
  • Thank God!
  • I emailed her so she'd know we were hollering for her.  She said she would.
    Life's crazy.  ':)']
  • I'm here! I'm here!!! I finally made it over!!!

Lisa and everyone thank you SO much for thinking of me and my family. We are in Texas. But not at Ft. Hood. I can't express to you how much this has affected everyone in the military. We are all family. Kind of like our family here but closer. And to know that it was one of our own was just devistating. God Bless our Vets! And please pray for the families ALL of them, at Ft. Hood.

I'm doing well. School keeps going and going and going. It feels like it is never going to be over. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I should be done with the "school" part in March. Although I will not be able to take the national exam until Aug. Things are changing at the birth center. We now have a new owner. I came really close to buying it myself but it wasn't the right timing so I'm glad that I didn't.

Sabin is still in NY. I'm talking to her about as often as I'm talking to you guys. Supposedly she is doing well. I miss her like crazy. But she will never again be the little girl I so miss and long for. I am coming to terms with that. Somedays are better than others.

My other two girls are doing very well. I am so impressed with how hard they are working in school. After my youngest came so close to failing last year she has really worked hard to do well this year! ( She is only 11) But she is doing great.

My husband is still in Iraq. He just came home for his R&R in Oct. After a small pit stop for me to New York for my grandmothers funeral. I met the family in Florda at Disney. It was a trip of a lifetime and I hope to do it again someday. Chip is scheduled to come home in Feb. or Mar.

I'm not sure what the future will hold. We are seriously contemplating staying here in San Antonio. I am still horseless with no immediate plans to change that either. My house is a mess, the pets are starving for attention and I feel like I'm always going going going.

I miss you guys. Thank you SO much for thinking of me. That makes me feel so special. School WILL end and I WILL be back. I'm just trying to think about my family's future right now. I love ya, love me.

PS, I still hate this new spell check!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And MK told me last time I saw her that I could leave my spelling mistakes and she will clean my posts up for me. So that is what I'm doing. Wish it could be fixed though!
  • Great to see you !  Nice to know you're hanging in there!!
  • Holy Cow Hunter look at that gorgeous girl. She is really growing up!!!

Now, what happened to the forum??
  • Hi Shiv!!  Good to hear from you and know you're still out there ':)'  Hang in there with school.  It'll be well worth it in the end, whenever that is!  Glad to hear your younger two girls and doing well.  My oldest is away at college and we are getting along well now ':)'  Hope Sabin comes around someday.  Thinking of you!
  • She looks big in that picture - I'm slouching. ':)'

The forum went south for a few days.  There are lots of lurkers and some even give a shout out.  I check in my normal twice a day usually.
