Orchestra the viola side LOL

Orchestra the viola side LOL
  • At the request of Hunterseat this is a thread about orchestra and the instrument i play which is viola there isnt really alot to say about it honestly, lets see the viola looks like a violin and its played the same, its bigger though and it sounds different, also if anyone does music the violin is read in the treble clef and the viola is alto.

i am on a different computer right now so i dont actually have any pictures of my viola, but here is a good picture i found, viola and violin,

here is a picture of the combined high school orchestras at New Mexico's capital building, the acoustics were amazing in there by the way, we played a really beautiful piece called Relic its a slow moving historical spell-binding piece and it sounded amazing in the capital building

here is another one that was taken in a church which is why the lighting is kind of horrible, but it was a really old church i cant remember if it was the oldest in the county or the oldest in the country...anyway that is both of the orchestras combined again, in the lighter picture you can see the set up is a little wacked, which makes it easier to find the viola section lol on the left are the violas then stuck in the middle are the cellos then the violas are on the right and the bases in the back, normally the cellos would be on the right and the violas in the middle,
when i get back on the other computer i will post pictures of my viola, i have a few good ones,
well i dont really know what else to talk about....LOL
    any questions?
  • I was looking for "Relic" on youtube.  I think I found it.  Is this it?

some people can sing and play, but not very well, its hard to sing and play because you hold the instrument with your chin if your singing your instrument is moving lol

here is a picture of my instrument Knox Jr. hes about 4 years old, i bought him brand new i was the first person to play him, hes a little dirty in this picture, i wish i had one after i clean him up
and because i cant get over it LOL a link to a piece that i am playing for a solo in about 6 weeks, its not me playing in this link because right now it sounds nothing like that but when i get it up to par ill record it and post a link lol
