Anyone attending?

Hey, there's this chick on another forum I'm on and she's really into sheep.  I think she'll be there, too!  But she's not on as much as she used to be.  *sniff*  I miss her.  Don't let any animals die around her.  She's into autopsies.  []

I am!  My oldest is showing one of our ewes, so we will be there from this wed thru Sunday afternoon. 

The Hunters and Jumpers as well as the Drafters will be there also, so Im hoping to be able to get over to see a few classes as well.

I wont be there til the 2nd.  I used to work with the American Creams from the MN Zoo so be sure to stop by and say hi to Prince and Duke... dead center of the horse barn.  They will be there all weekend... I am hoping one of my former coworkers will be there that day.

Nope ain't going too many years of it when I lived in Mpls. I'm a country girl now, LOL

do you really think thats a good idea Dash?  I mean it cools off here a bit.  not warm like over where you are now.
 
We survived!  OMG.. where there the people!  I heard they broke attendance records for the first day this year!  Im told that the MN state fair is in the top 5 of the nation for attendance.
 
My oldest did well.  He placed 7th out of a class of 11.  Lots and lots of really nice sheep there!
 
Also got to see a 1310 pound (yes you read that right) pig.  the thing was just HUGE!  I think one hock could have fed a family of 4!
 
we got home rather early, and all the kids and their animals got home OK, too.
 
Spud was very happy to be back with the flock.
 
I did lots of walking and did quite a bit of grazing, but I think I managed to loose a few pounds, too.  was really hot and humid the first 3 days, but became very tolerable the last 2.
 
we all had a grand time.  I think im sorta looking forward to next year's fair!  LOL

FanTAStic!  I think I'll miss the fairs this year - and we have 3 going on right now in the Memphis area!   I sorta want to go.  But....  maybe next year.
 
I sure hope to see pictures!!  I really am curious about the stuff your kids made!!!
