My sister hit black ice driving me to Driver's Ed one morning (I know, the irony in that!) and we went spinning down the road and off a bank into a neighbor's cow pasture. Fence post went through the window behind my head.....That was the first straw with my neck.... Ice is so unpredictable..... • hunterseat Posted : 12/18/2013 6:09:20 AM Reminds me of California, making the daily drive over Ortega Hwy at zero dark thirty. It's a deadly stretch of road and a truck was dangling over the edge of a cliff. I got to a pay phone down the road and called 911. I figured someone would come along and smack into it, pushing it off and hurting someone. The 911 operator said, if someone wasn't already hurt she couldn't send anyone. Besides, she wasn't sure which county it was in. UGH.  Thank God he wasn't hurt! Is there full coverage on the truck? Why not let it ride... if it still rides.
