We drove to Independence, MO on Sat morning to go to my daughter's baby shower at her in-law's house. She is due Aug 19 and is going to have a little girl.
Before Kylene opened gifts, we all decorated onesies. That was fun and some people really came up with cute ideas. We used markers, buttons, ribbons, etc.

This pic includes the father to be, Ryan. He had taken the guys to a friends house and they had been partaking in some adult beverages and swimming in a pool with 3 golden retrievers that joined them. Yes, the dogs were in the pool.

It was a 3 hour drive for us, so David and I, my son, my daughter-in-law, and my grandkids all spent the night at the Super 8. We went back to Don and Joyce's, the in-laws, and all ate breakfast together on Sunday morning before we headed back home. Kylene and Ryan had flown from their home in Chicago to KC, so in two weeks a friend and I are going to drive to Chicago and deliver the gifts. This summer is going to be so busy!
