• danastark Posted : 12/25/2009 5:58:55 AM Went the the candlelight service at my sister's church tonight, then came home to chicken gnocchi in the crockpot.  Gary and the kids are watching Pirates #3, I've got all my wrapping done so I think I'll curl up with my latest book.  Today was such a gorgeous day and tomorrow looks to be the same.  After we get up and open gifts, we're heading over to my sister's for breakfast (her first Christmas with her own kids ), then coming home and getting the prime rib started.  Horses are getting carrots and apples, dogs have new knuckle bones and the cats have a new toy.   Happy holidays to you all LIKE 4 REPLIES 828 VIEWS LAST POST HUNTERSEAT Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • hunterseat Posted : 12/25/2009 9:36:47 PM A nice present for my and my newly blind boy, Bullwinkle.... He only lets me do anything to him if he has a pan of food in front of him or else he doesn't trust me and acts like I'm out to get him.  SO today I went out and gave the horses treats that Santa brought.  Bully would NOT let me near him - too bad, I had a piece of duct tape for his blanket....  Later I saw him near the fence by himself so I grabbed his two treats and a sandwich bag to rattle.  I got him to come over and take treats from me.  Later we did it again.  It takes a LONG time - he wasn't overly trusting WITH sight!  Now it's near impossible!!  BUT we're making progress.  AND I've been working on the house - yes... but it's like a Christmas present to me - it's really looking good!!!  (organizing straightening cleaning) LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
