Wednesday Weather

It is raining here.
100% chance today and tonight.

Horses won't be happy staying in muddy pens.
I did leave them out for an extended amount of time yesterday.

It will start clearing out tomorrow afternoon.
Highs only in the 40's
Good fireplace weather.
We had a nice fire yesterday evening.

Good weather for doing taxes or burning brush.

Tonto has a recheck on his eye scheduled for Friday afternoon.
I don't see any real change. I hope it is at least less painful for him.

Connie, maybe a goat? Except that can can cause some mischief.

Everyone have a nice, although wet Wednesday.

My experience with goats is limited to the ones that are put with race horses for various reasons. None of them caused me to be fond of goats. Kids are cute, a goat climbing on tack trunks and pooping, or eating the neighbor's flowers or , the worst, butting over a full wheel barrow of manure is not something I care to deal with again. thinking maybe a burro? not sure. My fences are great for horses but cows require a bit more and I am too close to a fast two lane road. I did meet a girl last year who wanted to pasture a horse and I just might talk to her again.

Weather here is quixotic. High 20's, low 30's and that wonderful combination of slushy snow falling. Not a fan.

Picked up my half a beefer Saturday. I approve. At least the ground is good and the soup bones make wonderful soup. Have yet to try the steaks.

Tons of goats here, all different kinds. I don't like them.

I don't know about burros.

A pasture mate sounds like a good bet.
