We got 7 round bales yesterday.
2 black widows got too close to me. They were in 2 different tarps I pulled to use for covering the hay.
Very nice hay that came from a field that belongs to a friend of mine.
I did not realize it was going to be that nice or that he was going to sell the hay to the local hay barn.
The bales were a bit light and at $90 a bale a bit high priced.
There appears there will be shortage so I bought them while it was available.
Quality coastal rounds for horses are getting hard to get. they are making it all into squares at $8.00
After putting up hay we worked on improving the footing in the arena. It seems I will be working a particular mare for the rest of the summer.
We only got 1/8 inch of the rain forecast. It made it extremely humid so I am couch slug for the rest of the day.
