is when my new upright freezer is to be delivered today!
Happy dance! The little chest freezer died when the Sinton bunch was here.
Luckily we were able to move everything over to the cabin upright.
But I have been struggling without since. Not so easy with as many people as I seem to feed.
We have a lot of guests. Pilot's cousin stopped yesterday from El Paso on his way to Corpus.
He is delivering a car to his niece who lost hers in the hurricane.
And Cowie Friday is a meal for 8-12. Which this weekend is Shirlene's birthday.
Farrier Ed is having a hard time. He calls or texts Pilot throughout the day.
I think we are in good shape for firewood for this winter. I do need to check and make sure it is properly covered.
There's nothing like going out to get wood and finding the tarp has blown off and the wood is wet.
However our stockpile is large enough you just need to move some to find dry underneath.
