He is eight years old already.
He turned out to be a big ole hunk. Jet's 19th bday was yesterday.
We spent the day at Cowie's On the way we transported another caught coon to a new home location by the river. He was mad and jumped into the river upon release from the live trap.
He swam across and hopefully stays. I saw Wildebeests? as we drove by a ranch. What does one do with Wildebeests??
We also saw a Cara Cara, some quail and a guinea hen along the road into Cowie's
I brought a box full of canned goods, cereal, soap etc... from Help center. And some shirts for Richard.
Shirlene and I got a work area cleared and set up to put the tool box and tools that we brought. I got the grinding wheel bolted down and Richard gave it a try on the metric wrenches.
Richard lost quite a lot of his hearing this week. And Shirlene had added casts to her fingers. The tendons are pulling her fingers in.like a claw on her right hand. Insult added to injury. We had a sandwich picnic for lunch. They both enjoyed the homemade corned beef.
Turner worked on both of the bobcats again. One he could not get started. He worked on the other and had success. We then got the leaking hydraulic cylinder removed from it and brought the cylinder home to fix. We will bring it back repaired and with hydrostatic fluid and diesel so hopefully the bobcat will run.
A successful day but all were tired by 3pm.
I have mice in the tack room. They are avoiding the traps so far. Grr.
Today is my Saturday volunteer day. It is Br and I so it will be fun.
Pilot has his radio class test today. He will be miserable to live with if he doesn't do well. He is somewhat of a perfectionist.
Meatloaf for dinner.
Everyone have a great Saturday!
