Happy St. Patrick's Day!
It is very green here and the bluebonnets and wildflowers have started.

My hard work transplanting salvias along the drive is starting to pay off.
They decided to burst this year and it looks great so I will continue.
A friend has the bi-color salvias. I need to get some from her.

I skipped my volunteer duties yesterday to spend time with MaderChica while she is here. And Sis had the day off.
Actually I worked Wednesday morning instead and Pilot did take MC flying.
She and I finally got a ride in after noon Wed. She did well on Sarcee.
Tex is out of practice from lack of riding but was as good as gold.
I made King Ranch casserole after riding and everyone came for the evening.

We had hoped to get Sis to try Jet yesterday but MC was very sore and it was drizzly so we opted to spend the day in FredBurg.
After getting home we did some shooting practice. They did a family movie night and Pilot and I relaxed for the evening.

Today MaderChica is taking her brothers to Enchanted Rock.
I am cooking a ham and potato salad. Not sure where we will be having diner, Sis' or here.
And MaderChica flys back home Saturday morning.: (

Sorry for the bad weather you nor'easteners.
I can't imagine doing that ever again.
A bit of heat for a couple months is far more preferable to me.
Lemonade in the shade is easier than battling feet of snow.

Have a great green day!
