Feels great to be going back to work. Well, at 6am it's not feeling that great. Still have to shower, get dogs out and.... that's about it.
I spoke to my cousin last night. They buried my mom Thursday. She had some zany thing in her will to be buried at the house under a tree but the concern for security of her ashes forced us to put her in the plot with the headstone she had picked out next to my step dad. Her dogs' (multiple) ashes were buried with her and they got some dirt from the yard of her beloved home and sprinkled it in there, too. RIP mom.
And Gary's mom, too. Dana you did so much, I don't know how you kept it up. Labor of love. I can't wait until the show!! Exciting!!
We need to figure out a good time for a trip to Texas. I'll look at the calendar and see how I can get the most bang for the buck with my leave. I get 3day weekends (every other) and I know Columbus Day is coming up. I really want to come out soon. Plus I'm serious about the saddle if you think it would be a good barrel saddle. I know nothing about Western saddles and not that much about English.
Connie, looking for pictures of Haffies and Pals in your pasture. :O)
