Saturday Super

Arrived in Kitty-topia, uh, I mean Fawn Lodge.  Lots and lots of kitties everywhere you look.  Just a crazy old cat-man, you know.<wink, wink>

Had to move the old man ('58 Chevy one ton) to Fawn Lodge so that I can pull the six and put in a V-8 I have sitting in the shop.  It's been sitting a long time.  I hope it's still good.  I need it to be so.  I'm also considering using the rear end on the old motorhome as well.  Hopefully that will work as well.  We shall see.

Just a short visit of a day or so.  Weather report says it will be raining from Sunday Night  to early afternoon Monday.  I hope we get a lot of rain out of this!  My gardens need it. Half the Romaine lettuce bolted.  That's what I get for buying pony packs.  The rest of the lettuce looks to be doing pretty well.  I planted Tennis Ball lettuce (heading type) just for kicks as it was grown in Washington's and Jefferson's gardens too.  Looks to be doing well.  The Pablo seems to have perished as did the slim chicks chives I bought from the same vendor.  Won't buy from them again. Have a whole bunch of raised garden boxes to put in.  And the assembly of the green house as well.  Everything else is doing great.  I rescued a plant from Fawn Lodge as it was growing in the walkway and was in danger of being squashed. I thought it was a Fox Glove (Digitalis Purpurea) but no!  It was a Canterbury Bell (Campanula)!  Purple at that.  Jmebear will love it!

Well it got dark on me and I'm not done yet.  I too hope everyone has a great weekend!
