if I should alter blankets that I have for Prize.
Like I would have time for that.
Horse.com has them on sale and had 69".
So I bought him a rain sheet and a winter one.

Measured Sarcee again to compare.
I didn't realize she is closer to Prize's size than Chica.
Sarcee is twice as stout as Prize maybe 3 times.
I swear she stays fat on air.

Dragged the tree out.
It's up but need lights and decor.

Headed to town today.

I have had my blankets for Socks in storage for several years. What with how cold it has been, I figure they may have to come back and be used this year, He has a decent coat, not like the minis or Raven (she already has a beard this year). However, if he gets too cold, Socks colics. So, I'm considering going back to it this year. I don't need vet bills, particularly how much those costs have gone up! Looks to be a cold winter coming. Then again, I have seen this kind of pattern and four months of rain with no snow pack to speak of. Over 5k feet we do have snow already, and not just a dusting either! We shall see. It isn't just the people who are crazy in California. The weather patterns are too!

Forecast here is for a warmer drier winter.

But silly Prize likes to stand outside (in rain also) instead of comfy stall.
