Happy Halloween

We have rain chances for the next week but only 20-30 percent and we are desperate.
Forecast is for a warmer drier winter here.
I went and got 2 more loads of hay.
Beautiful coastal squares right out of the field, $12 a bale.

I took Tex for a ride yesterday.
It was terribly windy but he did awesome.

Raining here. Predicted to have rain for the next two weeks.

Well, let's correct that to it's pouring today! Wasn't bad till around two or three and then the skies opened!

Drove the old man into Weaverville today. About 32 miles round trip, not including the roundabout in town. Probably another five or ten miles then another fourteen going into Lewiston for mail and Propane. He was a good boy the whole time! The brakes got a bit sticky a few times. All it took was pulling over in a wide place, backing up a bit and a few times if need be, and everything sorted it self out. I was tickled pink with how that old truck behaved today. Might need a new carb because it won't run unless the choke is out a bit. So there's an air leak somewhere. I wish everything was so simple with the Stationwagon. Forgot to get spark plugs for both today. Oops! I can get that in Redding on the way back to Oak Run on Tuesday.
