• DaneHaven Posted : 1/5/2023 12:45:30 PM is holding up fine. Slight chance for rain this weekend that we desperately need. Rainfall amount for 2022 was 16 inches. The second lowest total since I have lived here. I hope we have more in 2023. More riding for 2023 is also desperately needed. I hope everiyone is having a good week. • studebaker Posted : 1/6/2023 3:52:12 AM Several days of downpours here in Fawn Lodge.  Looks like another week of it to come as well. A friend of mine lives in an older mobile home which the wind started to dismantle this week.  Looks like another job for Mr. Fixit. Been without power here in Trinity County since yesterday afternoon.  Still no straight story from the power company as to why.  It was supposed to come back on at 9pm yesterday, then it was going to be this morning, then 4pm, and finally at six we were back up and running.  What with the insane weather last night, I would have waited till morning too!  We were fine with wood heat in the house and a large collection of Kero lamps.  No access to the World Wide Waste of Time though.
