Between yesterday afternoon and today I have been helping some friends evacuate their ponies and selves from the Carr Fire west and south of Redding. My own home in Fawn Lodge, and the town of Lewiston are on mandatory evacuation. I had no chance to get any of my things out of my unit in Lewiston or out of the house in Fawn Lodge. It's all in God's hands now. I haven't been able to get home for weeks due to my truck giving me trouble. Then the road was closed for this fire. Now the whole township is on mandatory evacuation. It's like Santa Rosa all over again...
