I finally got my feed weighed out.... I should be ashamed of myself, waiting so long while feeding it to them anyway.
I went from GroStrong Pellets to SeniorGlo for the boys and Junior Glo for Dani (she's 2-1/2 - behind in her growth from.... hardship) Steve came out and said he can see how she's changed and she's butt-high again! [

] Anyway, because of *ahem* someone's advice I stopped feeding BOSS and rice bran for now and am trying this new feed. (Don't want to overdo the fat.) It's a premium line for ADM/Moorman's. I'll post links to both. I'm feeding about 2-2/3&nbsp

ounds per day for each. They all look great! Miles if even filling out combined with the Bowen therapy. Bully is still not as good - a hard keeper, I guess.... I'll have to do pictures after I finish my 11 days with no day off.

Dani seems to be thriving on the new feed, better than the GroStrong Pellets and BOSS. The boys get joint supplement and I have to soak the pellets cuz I'm paranoid. That really sucks.
Do you think BOSS is adding too much fat? I only feed a very small amount. Just enough to have a few flowers in the pasture.

Looks like some good feed i have heard some good things about that feed i feed a bluebonnet feed with rice bran and daily wormer....Fancy looks freaken awesome with what she is geting.

Ya its a great feed i wouldnt change at all and fancy enjoys eating it she goes crazy for it( i have salt blocks in her corner feeder you can hear her going to town shovong the salt blocks around its funny she gives it H***

And whats even better...Before i started her on this feed i had her on omelene(sp) omg talk about a horse on speed i couldnt do anything with her she was a basket case the sweet feed made her hott highper i couldnt get any work done......And sense i have changed OMG she is alot calmer she doesnt get fatigued as soon it has totaly changed her.....you dont have to lounge her for 30mins just so you can ride her and not get beaten up in the process...Now she is a joy to ride.I wouldnt change the feed im on......

Make sure you are feeding the min amount recommended or your not getting the nutrition...

ADM is a QUALITY company I am just not familar with those two feeds since I can't get them around here , most senior feeds have a min of 6lbs per day

Aw.... that's why I put links. It has the ingredients and directions. There's a LOT of info there. I really like their web site. Not all fluff and sales.

OK, internet working today

the JunioGlo doesn't give a min amount just a max... might call ADM and find out min amount to get nutrition levels needed ..and they give "overview" of ingredients not actual ingredient list LOL ':)'

Min on SeniorGlo is 5lbs per day ':)'

and once again they "overview" but don't list actual ingredients ';)'

they do both say they have zero corn so that is GREAT!!

Wow... [&o] that's alot of feed, isn't it? I feel bad because they are looking so much better - well, I thought Zag was looking good before but Jamie said put weight on him so I upped them all and the older ones are looking pretty good. I guess I was starving them... [&o] But Bully doesn't look starved, does he?

Do you think this is lower nutrition than the GroStrong Ultra Fiber I had them on? This soaking is for the birds. I think this is basically the same stuff but with added Senior ingredients. If I put them back on GroStrong I'd have to add something which would need soaking anyway. I'm a bit discouraged. This is feeling expensive. [>:]

if this amount is putting wieght on them I personally would add half a dose of the Gro Strong or OH wow let me come back have to go to ADM site again

robably use the Gro Strong in a half dose since they are all getting about a half dose of the other feeds ':)'
