Calm and Cool

Is it safe?  We have a pony that does not like trailering, she gets the shakes,  and my friend suggest I use calm and cool, she uses it on her TB for trailering. I am not really fond of giving anything I know nothing about. Can anyone help me? Again is it safe, how long does it last? Thank you. • MarcoPolo Posted : 8/12/2009 7:41:20 PM I've used it a few times and it seems to work ok, never had a problem with it. It doesn't make your horse loopy or anything it just relaxes them a little and you tend to see them yawning a little more than normal! Ha.. However make sure you read the directions and give it enough time to kick in before you trailer or show. Some calming pastes take longer to work than others.   hope this helps!
