Dim horse arena lighting - what many pcs and power do I need?

• Daniel Means Posted : 2/9/2020 9:30:38 AM riding-arena-not-bright-enough.jpg Hi all. I have an indoor riding arena, but it is quite dim even I have installed dozens of lighting fixtures. As you can see in the photo, I was using the UFO halogen lights on the ceiling of the arena. Should I change to LED or add more lights? How many pieces and power do I need to add? At present, I have figured out we can use the riding arena flood lights as they can light up the large region. LED is also a good choice because it is more energy-efficient. However, how many pieces of those lights do I need? The dimension of the field is around 50'x100'. If you find a reputable salesperson who deals with lighting, they can visit and make recommendations. You may only need one fixture at each end, like a smaller version of a stadium light.
